This place is easy to find as long as you pay attention to the address and to the suite letter, \"D.\" When we visited the lot was full; fortunately, there was a metered spot on the street. The door to the reception room was unlocked and it took a few buzzes to get someone to come to the window. The reception room wasn\'t very welcoming and I thought I was going to be dissappointed until they verified me and took me back to the medication room.
The medication room at DTC is more of a cozy little stoner lounge. A large aquarium divides this dimly lit room. On one side there are two display cases, a couch and a coffee table, and on the other side there is a large plasma screen with chairs and tables surrounded by bongs, vaporizers, hookahs and other medicating accessories. According to the manager all of the strains here are organic. One of the display cases was filled with flower. We saw some Lavendar, Bubba Kush, and other name strains for $45-75 /8th. We tried some outstanding LA Confidential. The other case had a variety of smoking accessories, edibles, and concentrates. Every once in a while they get some nice clones, so if that is what you\'re looking for, ask for more information when you visit.
This place has all sorts of weekly events and specials. On Wednesday there is free med sampling and on Saturday and Sunday there is a free hash bar, grow seminars, and an occasional visit from an artist. Downtown Collective has a lot going on for a small dispensary. If you are looking for a place to pick up from and medicate at check this place out. Make sure to tell them Weed Connection sent you.
