Eden Therapy is located in Hollywood on the northern side
of Santa Monica Blvd., near Highland. More specifically, in a tiny shopping
center with a small lot in front and meters on the nearest side street. There
is a huge sign that reads "Eden Therapy" placed directly above the
entrance, which makes this herbal therapy center easy to spot. At first, the
kind of run-down shopping center and very tiny entry room made me think I was
going to have to write a bad review or none at all. But, I was pleased when
each room got better on the trip to this medication destination. I found that
the longer I was there and the more I talked to the staff the more I liked this
place.
I gave them my prescription and ID and was buzzed into the waiting room where
I filled out my paperwork and began taking notes for the review. There were
some comfortable chairs in this musty, somewhat funny, and I am not talking
about the weed, smelling waiting room. I think someone must have heated up something
funky for lunch. It made me hungry. Getting back to the review... There was
a chill fish tank in this room as well as some little tables with flyers and
cards promoting other peoples businesses. They also had a water cooler and an
ATM in here.
The medication room at Eden Therapy is small in size, well setup, and holds
a fairly large selection of a wide variety of strains, edibles, hashes, concentrates,
and clones. You enter the room into the open end of "U" shaped arrangement
of three display cases. On the wall to the right is a well-organized white-board
listing the different strains and prices, and there is also another board or
two listing specials. The display case on the right holds lower grade strains
and the one in the middle is filled with the higher grade and priced strains/flowerz!
There is a really cool artsy painted wall behind the center case and a scale
that the patients can see their meds weighed out on. The display case on the
right had at least 5 different hashes, some bomb ear wax, a couple of concentrates,
and some medicating accessories. They also have blow tubes for sale as a fundraiser
for The Childrens' Hospital... a noble cause.
The diversity of edibles at Eden Therapy comes from various bakeries including
Sky High, Ms. Wates, and Califorganic. There were sugar free edibles too. There
were without doubt a lot of really yummy 420 treats here. The flowerz here range
in quality significantly. There is something for every taste and budget. Many
choices in each grade of quality. Saw and smelled their top shelf True OG and
Gods Gift. Price was not superb... conversely they had some chronic Humbolt-Wreck
for only $30 an 8th.
In conclusion, this place is respectable for their variety.
The staff was kind to us and their buds ranged from kind to... well they had
a lot to choose from. Some seriously ill and low-income patients came in and
out while I was there and I was extremely impressed with how the staff communicated
with them and helped them find the meds that matched their needs. They even
let you pick out your own nugz here! At some point during the review, someone
said "we have all smoked resin here" at one point if not still. How
true... enjoyed that comment cause most all of us have partaken in the hoody
act of resin scraping. I think we were talking about not having money for our
meds. Check Eden Therapy out if you live or work in the area! Get some treez
