Green Dragon Co-op is located on Van Nuys Blvd. in Van Nuys. This place is tucked away behind the taco stand on the side of the main building in this large shopping center. There is a big lot with parking spots directly in front of the one-story building. The standard reception room has plenty of seating and we were verified quickly at the standard reception window. After being verified we were buzzed through the mantrap and into the medication room.
The entire dispensary is white-walled and very clean feeling. Adding to the theme of this place, there are some dragons hanging on the walls, so if you like to puff the magic dragon this might be your spot. The medication room is small with two display cases and a little fridge that take up the majority of the room. There is a white board behind the cases that lists the 12 stains, hashes and kiefs they had on stalk. Ranging in price from $15-25 a gram and $40-65 and 8th for nugs and $26-40 for a g of hash, this place has a small spectrum of prices and meds for any budget. We tried some Master Kush x Purponics and while we were satisfied with our selection; we think that their hash stood out more and weÕÍÕll probably try some when we return. There is also a small selection of pieces and most of the BudÕÍÕs bakery line of medicated edibles.
Green Dragon Coop is fairly new and in one of the better locations on Van Nuys Blvd. The staff here is super friendly and while we were there they even took some time to teach a new patient how to medicate for the first time. From what we gathered from the staff, this place is going to continue to beef up their selection as their customer base grows.
