Reviewed by info@weedconnection.com Reviewed Saturday, 20 Apr 2007 04:20:00 PST HCC is a co-op over on N. Western in Hollywood. They are located on the second floor of a large office building. Just look for the big flag with the rainbow cross on it. Thankfully they do have an elevator so handicap access is not an isssue. They have a sign @ the door that tells you to look up at the security camera after buzzing. After a few moments I was greeted by the security guard. Inside they had a fairly spacious waiting room with enough chairs to go around. The staff here was super friendly and got me squared away and ready to go pretty quickly.
Once inside the medication room I was impressed by the layout and use of space. They have a real laid back vibe going on here, that is very cool. These guys carry all kinds of strains, edibles and concentrates. What got my attention though is how they color code their strains. I wish more co-ops would do this, becuase it makes it so much easier to find the right meds you are looking for. They had plenty of kif, and hash as well, plus pre-rolled joints and shake. Oh by the way did I mention they have my favorite concentrate ever? Yeah that would be the Mothers Milk. This stuff is so good that it tastes like you are smoking the Mexican drink Horchata! I love it. To give you an example of the strains they carry I saw,White Widow, Maui HazexAfgaini #1, L.A. Bubblegum , Pure Kush, Mendicino Purps, Bubba Kush, Master Kush and lots lots more. I tried the Pure Kush and White Widow and was very satisfied and happy with both. Every thing was cured really nicely and most importantly it was fresh! As far as edibles, they only carry baked goods, so no candy bars or chocolote here.
All in all I was impressed at how well they were set up and by the quality of their medication. There staff and owner are super compassionate and really get what running a co-op is all about. Go check them out as soon as you can. You won\'t be sorry.
