(MOVE TO SHERMAN OAKS AREA) These guys are located off the 101 freeway right on Ventura Blvd. They are pretty much right across from the Taco Bell and have a big sign that says V.I.P. in front. You usually have to park around the corner at a metered spot. They have no buzzer so just go to the door and they will open it in a second or two. Pretty standard waiting room. Its always really dark in there. Anways the security guard and the receptionist are the same person here usually and they dont take to long to get you verified. The weird thing about here is how they have buzz door but they leave it ajar always. I will say there is a big tattooed guy who works here at the front desk who isn\'t the friendliest person in the world.
They have a pretty large medication room here. Two large display cases full of herb, edibles and glassware. The usually have a pretty good selection in stock but sometimes they can really be lacking. Very hit and miss here. Usually what they do have in is pretty good if not a little dried out sometimes. I have gotten some great Durban Posion and Afgooey from here. They usually also always have a Kush or two. As far as concentrates sometimes they have hash or kief but not usually a very large selection. The edibles here are very weak. Always stale and lacking in potency. I wouldnt recommend going here for edibles at all. The staff is pretty friendly but sorta quiet and sometimes take a while to come out from the back room to help you.
Over all V.I.P is a well respected, long running co-op on Ventura Blvd. The meds they have are usually of high grade and they are prices are pretty good. I would like to see them drop the 1/8th prices but the prices are pretty average for the rest of the valley. I would suggest to give these guys a visit if you\'ve never gone before and you might just get lucky and find a bomb strain or two.
