These guys are a new co-op with a lot of potential. Located right off the 101 freeway on Ventura Blvd they have easy access. If you can't get a spot on the street there is a parking lot behind the building. They have all blacked out windows and a green awning hanging above the door. Once you open the door you are led into a cage like security gate. Someone came and greeted us and asked to see our paperwork. We were then led into a small but cozy waiting room. They had a nice leather couch to chill in and had us fill out a few sheets of paper work. The staff here seems super chill and compassionate.
The medication room here is nice and spacious and has two large display cases. One case is dedicated to medication and one is full of pipes and bubblers. They had about 10 strains to choose from starting at 1/8ths for 50. They had a nice variety of strains to choose from. I saw a couple of standouts in the Trainwreck and Purple Bubba Kush. Both were just beautiful nugs and were very potent and flavorful. I liked how they had all the strains also out on the counter so you could check them out with their magnifying glass. They don?t carry and edibles for now and I didn?t see any hash of keif. Just herb for the time being.
Westside Caregivers could use a few more strains and some concentrates, but they are a nice dispensary that seems to be going in a positive direction. The security is good and the location is great. Give them a try next time you are cruising Ventura Blvd and make sure to tell them you read their review on WEEDCONNECTION.
