Real One is a solo artist from Modesto, California who's marijuana flavored music is the granddady of the weed hemp hop genre. Real One is recording new music and recently released his sophomore album Reefer Madness including both AMMA song that won 2007 Best Medical Song with "How I Smoke" and 2008 Best Male Artist with song "The Purple Haze." He made cameo appearances in both the movie 420 Can't Stop Chocken' and also in Jack Herer's newest documentary DVD The Emperor Wears No Clothes. Real One has done songs with Mac Dre, Black Rob, Hollow Tip, JT The Bigga Figga, BA of 3X Crazy, Doesia, Talksick, Jay Smith Biatch, Los Marijuanos, Young Droop and more. Real One has been hustlin habits with and all-star lineup of features. His earlier work was with a group know the the name of Cali Souldiers on albums titled Sip of the Potion, How We Livin, and Wayz of a G. Real One can be found on the front lines of the marijuana movement participating as an activist and artist spreading the word that it is just a plant, which needs to be fully legalized for the world.
