What started as a group of college buddies playing backyard
parties in Boulder, Colorado has turned into something bigger, better, and in
Whale's Diego. Forming back in 2005, these guys quickly became local favorites
and headlined venues such as the Fox Theatre. Mixing the styles of reggae, rock,
blues, and hip hop they soon began writing songs that lead up to the October 2007
release of their debut album,"Levity." UpRoot's sound and dedication to their
music has matured into UpRoot becoming one of the most respected local bands from
the Boulder area. Whether it's a backyard kegger or a packed venue, experiencing
UpRoot's high energy and feel good performance is sure to make you an instant
fan!! These guys have relocated to San Diego, California and regularly play shows
